"The Scouring of the Shire"

Thought I wouldn't make it in time for this month's post, did ya? Well, think again!!

Well, it's been an eventful month, make no mistake! Full of comings (no pun intended =p) and goings, broken dreams, new old friends, partying, hard work.. There's been a little bit of everything..

And guess what? It's fishing season yet again! =D Hope this will be the best year yet...

It turns out that my band might be able to reclaim it's rightful place on Papas and Beer's Friday Night line-up, given that we are scheduled to play on Friday the 30th, and if all goes well, we'll be sticking around for a while, I hope..

In other news, I had my first meal with my mother -just the two of us- for the first time in (quite literally!) years!! It was wonderful!! She made one of my favorites: mole!! We had a nice, long chat afterwards, sharing our "wisdom" (I do have some of my own, you know!), and reminiscing about days gone by, and dreaming about things to come.. Quite a memorable evening..

For the first time in weeks, I won't be playing this weekend.. To tell the truth, I'm rather at a loss as to what I should do this weekend.. Well, I'll just have to improvise.. That seems to work out quite well for me, anyway =p. C ya around, folks!! Thanks for reading!!
